Saudi Arabia Travel Demand at Record High Ahead of Summer Season

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is witnessing a surge in international traveller interest, according to the CEO of the Saudi Tourism Authority. The country experienced a historic milestone in January, with over three million inbound tourists, a trend that continued through February and March.

This surge in tourism coincides with the kingdom's representation at the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai, with the unveiling of a new campaign titled ‘Summer in Saudi Arabia’. The campaign promotes tourism across the kingdom, focusing on destinations ideal for summer visits. Highlighted destinations include the mountainous regions of Aseer and Taif, the Red Sea, Al Baha Province, as well as Riyadh and Jeddah. Aseer, in particular, is preparing for a significant influx of summer travellers, with the introduction of international seasonal flights for the first time.
