Safe Egypt Launches Nursery to Support Holistic Child Development
The new nursery combines global educational practices for a tailored, holistic approach that involves both family and child.

Safe Egypt — the initiative founded by child psychologist Sara Aziz to help children and youth live safe lives online and offline — has announced the opening of a nursery in New Cairo. The new Safe Nursery is designed around the mission of raising “skilful children,” with a programme that encourages exploration, self-expression, and growth. Drawing on educational practices from Japan, the US, the UK, and Egypt, the curriculum is tailored to involve both children and their parents. Rather than serving only as a daycare solution, the nursery aims to provide a holistic model that empowers entire families. The Safe Egypt initiative is already known for producing board games, children’s books, awareness campaigns, and events that educate families on safe exploration of both the physical and digital worlds. Aziz has also collaborated with the creators of the Ramadan series 'Lam Shamseya' to ensure the protection of child actors on set.
