New Initiative Guides UAE Parents With Science-Backed Parenting Tools
The new 'Olfah' initiative is giving parents and caregivers free, science-backed tools through online and in-person sessions to help raise happy, confident kids.

The National Academy for Childhood Development (NACD) has launched Olfah, a nationwide initiative designed to strengthen family bonds and equip parents and caregivers with practical, science-backed parenting tools.
Open to anyone aged 18 and above, the programme aims to help families raise confident, emotionally secure children while nurturing Emirati values and social cohesion.
Backed by the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Olfah offers 19 free workshops in Arabic, blending quick, accessible online sessions with more in-depth, in-person training. The virtual sessions cover positive parenting, mental wellbeing, and effective discipline strategies, while the in-person workshops—hosted at community and educational centres in Abu Dhabi—dive deeper, providing advanced guidance for parents, educators, and childhood development professionals.
Registration is now open through the NACD website.
