Marsa Alam Airport Welcomes 7,000 European Tourists in 24 Hours

Marsa Alam International Airport received around 7,000 foreign tourists within a 24-hour period on Tuesday, as flights arrived from seven European countries ahead of New Year celebrations in the Red Sea resort city.

According to the airport’s published flight schedule, the arrivals came on board 36 international flights operating from Germany, Poland, Italy, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Luxembourg.

The increase in traffic coincides with preparations across Marsa Alam’s hotel sector for New Year’s Eve, as resorts brace for a peak period in visitor numbers. Tourist flow into the destination has remained steady throughout December, driven largely by European markets.
