Foreign Investors Can Now Obtain a Renewable One-Year Residency
The Ministry of Interior amended the residency law for foreign investors to streamline the process of establishing companies.

To further attract foreign investments and streamline the process of establishing companies, the Ministry of the Interior has announced that foreign investors who apply to the General Authority for Investment will be granted a one-year residency.
This residency, intended for ‘non-tourism purposes’, can now be renewed for an additional period of six months or a year.
