The Music Commission recently held a graduation ceremony in Riyadh marking the completion of the inaugural National Orchestra and Choir programme. Over the course of 24 months, participants trained under local and international experts to develop their musical skills and artistic capabilities.
Honours were awarded in six categories, including academic excellence, development skills, musical leadership, and discipline. The ceremony featured a performance by the Saudi National Orchestra and Choir, conducted by Maestro Nader Abbasi and Maestro Reab Ahmed.
Minister of Culture Prince Bader bin Abdullah bin Farhan congratulated the graduates on X, emphasising the importance of education in shaping the Kingdom’s cultural landscape. The programme is part of broader efforts under Saudi Vision 2030 to expand and professionalise the country’s music sector.
