FIBA 3x3 Basketball World Tour Dribbles Its Way to NEOM Beach Games
Men’s 3x3 basketball teams will compete in the FIBA 3x3 World Tour in 18 cities around the world.
The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) has announced NEOM, Saudi Arabia along with Almaty, Kazakhstan as the latest additions to the FIBA 3x3 World Tour.
The FIBA 3x3 World Tour is an international tour of men’s 3x3 basketball teams representing various cities across the world. 3x3 basketball is inspired by several forms of streetball played worldwide, and is considered the world’s number one urban team sport. Steered by FIBA, the games see two teams of three players face off on a basketball half-court.
The 13th edition of the FIBA 3x3 World Tour is set to take place in 18 cities around the world. NEOM, in hosting the event for the first time, will build upon its established track record of holding a Super Quest in 2022 as well as a Challenger in 2023.
The 3x3 basketball tournament will be a part of the NEOM Beach Games, a major international sports event in the heart of the city.
