This is the fourth consecutive year that the league has followed the practice.

English Premier League matches that coincide with maghrib (sunset) timings will be paused during a natural stoppage of play during Ramadan, allowing Muslim footballers to break their fast during the Holy Month.
This is the fourth consecutive year that the league has followed the practice, with the first break taking place in a game between Leicester City and Crystal Palace in April 2021. According to sources, it will be determined whether any player is fasting prior to the match.
If so, the game will be briefly paused at iftar time to give them a chance to break their fast before continuing play.
