Egyptian Photographers Invited to Join MedFest Egypt 2025 Competition

Applications are now open for the seventh edition of the MedFest Egypt Photography Competition, organised in collaboration with Fujifilm. This year’s theme, “Transitions”, invites Egyptian photographers to document moments of change - from personal and collective transformations to subtle shifts in environment, identity, and experience. The focus highlights the role of both physical and psychological health in shaping these transitional moments. The competition is open exclusively to Egyptian photographers, with submissions to be made through an online form provided in the official announcement. The deadline for entries is September 5th, 2025. A jury panel will select a shortlist of photographs to be showcased at an exhibition held at the American University in Cairo’s Tahrir Square campus from September 17th to the 21st. The winner of the Best Photo Award will receive a Fujifilm X-T30II camera with an XF15-45mm kit.
