EGP 11.9 Billion Allocated to Support Subsidised Social Housing

The draft state budget for the 2024/2025 fiscal year has allocated around EGP 11.9 billion in efforts to strengthen its social housing projects, with a broader plan to construct around 330 000 new social housing units.
Further information from the draft budget indicates a focus on the country’s macroeconomic stability by developing and strengthening its production industries’ abilities, including the agricultural sector, industrial sector and export trade.
