Dubai Mallathon Sets Guinness World Record for Largest Indoor Mall Run

The Dubai Mallathon has set a Guinness World Record after 1,392 runners participated in the largest indoor mall run event at Dubai Hills Mall. The race marked the finale of a month-long fitness campaign that saw over 40,000 participants collectively logging 120 million steps across nine shopping centres in Dubai.

The initiative transformed malls into running and walking tracks, encouraging residents and visitors to stay active during the summer months. As part of the closing events, a full 42-kilometre indoor marathon also took place, completed by 40 runners, including participants from the People of Determination category.
