Central Bank of Egypt Raises Daily Withdrawal Limit to EGP 500,000

The Central Bank of Egypt has announced a temporary increase in the daily cash withdrawal limit for individuals and companies, raising the cap from EGP 250,000 to EGP 500,000 at local currency branches nationwide.

The bank confirmed that the measure is temporary and aims to accommodate clients during ongoing disruptions to communication networks. The revised withdrawal ceiling will remain in place until internet services are fully restored.
