Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre Opens Access to 30,000 Libraries
In partnership with OverDrive, the collection includes works published under the Centre’s Kalima and Publications projects.

The Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre has partnered with OverDrive to provide access to more than 30,000 digital libraries worldwide, expanding opportunities for readers to explore Arabic-language content across multiple devices.
The collection spans a wide range of subjects, including philosophy, history, sports, health, biology, and children’s literature, alongside works published under the Centre’s Kalima and Publications projects. Through the Wajeez Al Kutub initiative, readers can also access summaries and audio versions of selected works, including recent releases such as ‘The Boy Coming from Baghdad’ and ‘The Birds’.
By distributing content via global platforms including Amazon, Google Books, and Kobo, the partnership aims to expand the reach of Arabic-language publications while supporting Emirati authors through programmes like Esdarat and the Qalam Creative Writing Programme.
