AED 76.97 Million Approved to Clear Debts of 141 Citizens in Sharjah
The 30th batch by the Sharjah Debt Settlement Committee brings totals to AED 1.430 billion and 2,932 beneficiaries.
The Sharjah Debt Settlement Committee has approved AED 76.974 million to clear the debts of 141 citizens in its 30th batch, following directives by Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
The allocation is intended to settle liabilities for individuals convicted in financial cases, as part of ongoing efforts to support beneficiaries and promote financial stability.
Rashid Ahmed bin Al Shaikh, Chairman of Al Dewan Al Amiri and the Sharjah Debt Settlement Committee, confirmed that the 30th batch covers AED 76.974 million in approved settlements across 141 cases.
According to the committee, total disbursements from the first batch through to the 30th batch have reached AED 1,430,747,153, benefiting 2,932 citizens in total. The latest approval continues the structured settlement process carried out in successive phases under the ruler’s directives.
