Saudi Healthtech Nuxera AI Raises $2.5 Million Pre-Seed

Saudi healthtech startup, Nuxera AI, has secured $2.5 million in Pre-Seed investment from Sanabil Venture Studio by Redesign Health, with the funding set to be used to accelerate the company’s core mission of transforming clinical workflows through AI natively designed for Arabic-speaking healthcare providers.
Founded by Amin El Hemaily, Asad Khan, and Nada Hassan the startup aims to become the region's leading AI hub for hospitals, serving both health clusters and private institutions with scalable, Arabic-first technologies. Nuxera’s AI platform is engineered for integration into existing hospital systems, spanning from real-time clinical documentation to comprehensive hospital-wide data analytics.

Its flagship product, SERA, captures detailed doctor-patient conversations across 28 Arabic dialects and automatically generates structured, coded clinical notes utilising medical classification standards, a feature proven to reduce documentation time by over 70%. In addition, the companion ‘Talk to Your Data’ engine provides hospital leadership with an intuitive interface, allowing them to ask complex clinical, operational and financial inquiries in plain Arabic and receive instant, reliable insights, realising Nuxera’s vision for a more intelligent, efficient, and patient-focused healthcare system across Saudi Arabia. 
The newly acquired funds will be deployed to expand the engineering and go-to-market teams within Saudi Arabia, support the deployment of the platform in additional hospitals and facilitate the enhancement of Nuxera's AI models through focused clinical collaborations.
