Saudi Auto Parts Startup Autobia Raises $12 Million Series A

Saudi B2B automotive technology startup Autobia has raised $12 million in a Series A round led by Artal Capital, with participation from Aljazira Capital and Wa’ed Ventures. The funding will support the company’s expansion across Saudi Arabia and further development of its digital auto parts platform.
Founded in 2021 by Emad Daghreri and Ahmed Alawfi, Autobia operates a managed marketplace connecting auto parts retailers and wholesalers with verified suppliers. Its platform also integrates fulfilment, inventory purchasing on flexible payment terms and end-customer payment options through licensed payment and buy now, pay later providers.
The company plans to use the new capital to strengthen its fulfilment and logistics infrastructure, develop its proprietary dynamic pricing technology and expand its inventory-on-terms offering. The model is designed to address working-capital and sourcing challenges in the automotive aftermarket by combining marketplace, logistics and financial services within one system.
Autobia said the funding will support its next phase of growth as it scales its operations and embedded financial services for businesses across the Saudi automotive parts market.
