Noon Academy Acquires Almakhfi to Strengthen Saudi Edtech Offering
The deal deepens Noon's AI-powered education push in the Kingdom.
Riyadh-based EdTech startup Noon Academy has acquired Almakhfi, the Saudi platform helping students prep for Qudurat and Tahsili - the exams for those aiming to earn admission into universities in Saudi Arabia.
The move comes weeks after Noon closed a $40.8 million Series B round, led by Wa'ed Ventures and Raed Ventures. The deal folds Almakhfi's exam content directly into Noon's AI-powered learning ecosystem, giving the company a stronger foothold in one of the Kingdom's most competitive education niches.
Over eight years, Almakhfi has guided more than 250,000 students through Saudi Arabia's national exams. Noon, founded in 2013 by Mohammed Aldhalaan and Abdulaziz AlSaeed, already runs a broad interactive learning platform spanning core subjects, English, coding, robotics and drone technology.
