Saudi AI Startup Think Raises $8 Million Pre-Seed Round
The funding will support the company's expansion across the GCC and further development of its AI infrastructure platform.
Think, a Saudi artificial intelligence startup founded by Ahmed AlSharif, has raised more than $8 million in a pre-seed funding round to accelerate its expansion across the GCC and further develop its AI infrastructure platform.
The funding round was co-led by RAED Ventures and Wa'ed Ventures, two Saudi venture capital firms that invest in early-stage technology startups.
Think develops AI infrastructure aimed at reducing the cost of deploying artificial intelligence by improving GPU utilisation, lowering token costs and increasing the efficiency of AI systems.
According to the company, the new capital will be used over the next 18 months to expand its team, scale manufacturing and advance product development across Saudi Arabia, the wider GCC and selected international markets.
The startup also said it has established strategic partnerships within Saudi Arabia, including with HUMAIN, the Public Investment Fund-backed artificial intelligence ecosystem, as it continues to expand its presence in the regional AI sector.
