Emirati Healthtech M42 Expands to Bahrain With New Healthcare Facility
Built with Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding, the new long-term care and rehabilitation hospital marks M42’s first footprint in the Kingdom.
Abu Dhabi-based integrated healthcare provider M42 has opened a new facility in Bahrain, marking its first expansion beyond the UAE as part of a broader regional growth strategy. The centre is equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment technologies designed to support personalised patient care.
The Bahrain facility is positioned to serve a range of medical needs, with specialty services, imaging and laboratory capabilities under one roof. M42 said the centre will focus on integrating modern clinical technologies with preventative and personalised health solutions to support better outcomes for patients.
M42’s expansion into Bahrain aligns with its mission to broaden access to high-quality healthcare services across the Gulf Cooperation Council region. The company has stated that the new facility will act as a key hub for medical services, enabling seamless referrals and continuity of care for patients in Bahrain and neighbouring markets.
The move also reflects increasing healthcare investment across the GCC, with private providers expanding to meet rising demand for integrated, technology-enabled medical services. M42’s entry into Bahrain is expected to complement existing public and private healthcare offerings in the country.
