The singer’s planned November 28th show by the Pyramids has been moved to April 2nd, 2027.
Pop star Shakira has postponed her upcoming concert in Egypt, moving the show from November 28th, 2026 to April 2nd, 2027.
The singer announced the change in an Instagram Story addressed to her fans in Egypt, saying the decision was made due to “the current circumstances in the region” and with the safety and wellbeing of attendees as the priority.
“Performing in Egypt at the pyramids is one of my career dreams and it truly breaks my heart that we have to wait a little longer to be together,” Shakira wrote. She added that the concert will still go ahead on the new date, telling fans: “Egypt, I am coming!”
The rescheduled performance is now set for April 2nd, 2027 in Cairo, with Shakira again referring to the Pyramids as the backdrop for the show.
