Egyptian Actress Amira El-Sayed Joins Cast of HBO’s ‘Spy/Master’
Amira El-Sayed previously starred alongside famed American actor Tom Hanks in ‘A Hologram for the King’ (2016).

Egyptian-Austrian actress and writer Amira El-Sayed joins the cast of upcoming HBO series ‘Spy/Master’. The Cold War-era series follows the story of a secret agent in Romania and West Germany during the 1970s, and will premiere on May 19th.
El Sayed is set to appear in five of the series' six episodes. ‘Spy/Master’ was created by Adina Sădeanu and Kirsten Peter and directed by Christopher Smith for HBO Romania, and had already received a Berlinale Series Award (2023) for its first two episodes
The Germany-based actress grew up in Alexandria and previously starred alongside famed American actor Tom Hanks in ‘A Hologram for the King’ (2016).
