EXCLUSIVE: The Making of Amir El Masry’s Giant

Egyptian star Amir El Masry just dropped an exclusive behind-the-scenes training video for Giant, giving fans a raw look at his transformation into the “Prince” Naseem Hamed.

Giant opened the Red Sea International Film Festival to glowing praise, charting the rise of the Yemeni-British boxing legend from working-class Sheffield to global stardom under the fierce mentorship of trainer Brendan Ingle. Alongside El Masry, the film stars Pierce Brosnan, is written and directed by Rowan Athale, and is produced by none other than Sylvester Stallone.

El Masry’s Red Sea run doesn’t stop there. He’s also in competition with ‘The Stories’, after its stop at Tallinn Black Nights. Directed by Abu Bakr Shawky and starring Nelly Karim, the film is produced by Film Clinic’s Mohamed Hefzy and Shahinaz El Akkad.
