The Al Bader Festival returns this year from September 11th to the 25th at the Fujairah Creative Cultural Centre, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi and in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture. The event showcases a diverse programme featuring Arab and international artists, book launches, panel talks, exhibitions, and musical performances.

A central highlight is the release of 15 new publications from the inaugural Al Bader Grant, covering contemporary works on the Seerah, poetry collections in praise of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and children’s books presenting his biography in an accessible way. All titles will be available for purchase at the Al Bader store during the festival.

This year’s edition also features storytelling sessions, poetry readings, and spiritual musical performances (Inshad), with Tunisian artist Lotfi Bouchnak making a special appearance alongside other prominent Arab musicians and ensembles. Exhibitions such as ‘Al Burda and Radiance of Maqamat’, organised by the Ministry of Culture, will highlight Islamic artistic heritage through works by renowned Arab artist Yahya Al Wasiti and include workshops on Islamic arts led by regional and international creatives.
