Saudia Launches Direct Flights to Egypt's Al Alamein & Oman's Salalah

Saudia, the national flag carrier of Saudi Arabia, has officially launched direct routes to two new destinations: Al Alamein on Egypt’s northern coast, and Salalah in southern Oman.

The Al Alamein service—marking Saudia’s fourth destination in Egypt—now runs six weekly flights: three from Jeddah, departing at 5:25AM and arriving at 8:15AM, and three from Riyadh, departing at 5:15AM and landing by 7:45AM. Return flights from Al Alamein head back to Jeddah at 9:15AM and to Riyadh at 8:45AM. Known for its Mediterranean coastline and proximity to WWII heritage sites, Al Alamein offers a quieter slice of Egypt.

Meanwhile, Saudia’s new Jeddah–Salalah route brings travellers closer to the lush, mist-draped hills of southern Oman during khareef (monsoon) season. The thrice-weekly flight departs Jeddah at 3:40PM, touching down in Salalah by 7:00PM, while the return flights leave Salalah at 8:00PM, with passengers back in Jeddah by 9:35PM.

Both routes are now live, with tickets available through Saudia’s booking platforms.
