Etihad to Launch Flights Between Abu Dhabi & Dhaka This Summer

Etihad Airways is set to introduce a seasonal route between Abu Dhabi and Bangladesh's Dhaka starting June 26th, 2026, expanding connectivity across South Asia. Operating four times a week to Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, the service will be run on a Boeing 777, offering both Business and Economy seating alongside increased cargo capacity. The new route responds to growing demand for travel between the UAE and Bangladesh, while also strengthening trade links, particularly across key industries such as textiles. Additionally, the route caters to the large Bangladeshi diaspora in the UAE, as well as travellers connecting from destinations like the UK and Italy, offering a more direct and efficient journey home.
