Emirates Launches Third Daily Flight Between Dubai & Barcelona

Starting October 26th, 2025, Emirates will increase its Dubai–Barcelona service to three daily flights, expanding connectivity between the UAE and Spain’s Catalan capital.

The new frequency brings the airline’s total weekly flights to Barcelona to 21, operated by a mix of Boeing 777 and Airbus A380 aircraft. Emirates first launched the route in 2012, later expanding to twice daily in 2015.

Current schedules include morning, afternoon, and late-night departures from both cities, with some Barcelona-bound flights also connecting onward to Mexico City. The new flight, EK187, will depart Dubai at 2:00PM, arriving in Barcelona at 6:35PM. The return leg, EK188, departs Barcelona at 8:25PM, landing back in Dubai at 5:55AM the following day.

This latest boost brings Emirates’ Spain network to 35 weekly flights—14 to Madrid and 21 to Barcelona—further linking the Gulf with Europe and Latin America.
