Rashtions Gives International Coffee Day a UAE-Made Twist
Rashtions is marking International Coffee Day with a UAE-made protein truffle combining Brazilian coffee with dates, camel milk and ghee for a modern take on the coffee break.
International Coffee Day usually calls for another cup. In the UAE this year, it can also mean a coffee-flavoured truffle made with dates, camel milk and ghee.
UAE snack brand Rashtions is marking October 1st with its Brazilian Coffee Truffle, combining Brazilian coffee with ingredients more closely associated with the region. An 80-gram serving contains up to 20 grams of protein, putting it somewhere between a sweet bite and a more substantial snack.
Dates and camel milk form the base of the recipe, while ghee adds another familiar local ingredient to the mix. Coffee remains the dominant flavour, but the overall combination leans more towards a modern reinterpretation of regional staples than a straightforward dessert.
The truffle contains no added sugar, preservatives or artificial sweeteners, and is designed to work as either a coffee companion or a quick snack between meals.
