Rahet Bally Launches Pregnancy Tracking Features on Its App
This launch came in response to the lack of motherhood apps that take Egyptian women into consideration, with most existing apps being directed at American and European mothers.
Rahet Bally, a motherhood support platform, has launched new features on their app of the same name, allowing mothers to track pregnancy, child development, and vaccinations. Founded in 2015, Rahet Bally has grown into a community of more than two million mothers.
The app, locally made, features several core tools tailored to the needs of Egyptian mothers, including a week-by-week pregnancy tracker, a child vaccination tracker covering ages 0 to 18, a collection of articles on motherhood and parenting, and exclusive discounts across hundreds of brands covering maternal self-care products.
This launch came in response to the lack of motherhood apps that take Egyptian women into consideration, with most existing apps being directed at American and European mothers. "The tracker content was developed to reflect Egyptian culture and the needs of Egyptian mothers, under the supervision of doctors and specialists," says Nadia Gamal El Din, CEO and founder of Rahet Bally. The Rahet Bally app is available for free download on the App Store and Google Play.
The trackers are free to use, while additional features are available through an optional annual subscription. The app is available in both Arabic and English.
