UK Rapper Headie One Makes His Dubai Debut on September 28th
The London native is bringing his 'Headie One and Friends' event concept to Dubai's Cove Beach, following sold-out shows in Ghana and Spain this year.
Following sold out shows in places as far and wide as Ghana and Spain, the ‘Headie One and Friends’ tour is coming to Dubai on September 28th, marking UK rapper Headie One’s debut in the emirate.
Taking place at Cove Beach at JBR, the all-day event sees the London-born rapper bring together local and international artists, which is the core of the ‘Headie One and Friends’ concept. Joining him for the gig are Dynamic, Moky, Scottie B, Semo and Sir Taz, though more names are expected to be announced for an occasion that promises live performances and DJ sets from 12PM till late.
A mainstay on the UK's drill and rap scene, Headie One first emerged in the early 2010s under the moniker Headz. A series of solo and collaborative mixtapes helped him build a following, but it was his breakout year in 2018 that cemented his place in on the scene. That year, he changed his name to Headie One, entered the UK charts for the first time, and embarked on his first national tour. Since then, he has collaborated with some of the biggest names in rap in the UK and beyond, including Stormzy, Dave, AJ Tracey and Drake.
