Marwan Pablo’s Fashion Label Barraserb to Host Pop-Up Rave Jan 29

Barraserb, the unconventional streetwear label founded by Egyptian rap heavyweights Marwan Pablo and Xander Ghost, is set to launch its first pop-up rave in Cairo on January 29th.

Taking over a car customisation garage in El Mokattam, the event will transform a vintage workshop into a hybrid sound and culture space, soundtracked by eclectic sets from trailblazing Egyptian DJ/producer duo Issa & Assouad.

Since its launch in 2023, Barraserb has emerged as one of the most revered names in Cairo’s underground street style ecosystem. The label channels the once-radical, community-driven ethos associated with figures like Virgil Abloh through hands-on activations and intimate listening sessions across the city, highlighting local connection, rejecting celebrity worship, and spotlighting the deep-rooted dialogue between fashion and rap culture.
