IASC Marks One Year with Olympic-Themed Party in Cairo Jan 30
The party features live performances from Taffy and Maman, along with DJ sets from Lana, The StALIon, Femaledjkhaled, and DJ RJ.
Cairo-born music collective IASC is celebrating its one-year anniversary this January 30th with a massive Olympic-themed party in Downtown Cairo.
Founded by three friends and DJs, Lana Mawlood, Aly Khalifa (The Stalion), and Noor (Femaledjkhaled), IASC began as a joint birthday party and quickly grew into one of the most talked-about party series in Cairo’s clubbing scene, garnering a huge cult following in and outside of Egypt. Their sound is a heart-pumping mix of afrobeats, amapiano, balie funk, Jersey club, and UK Garage, all stitched together with 2000s Arabic pop and mahraganat cuts. Since its inception, the collective hosted pop-up raves in Dubai and London.
The collective’s birthday bash is framed as an Olympic Trails, featuring playful sports-inspired activities that invite partygoers to participate in the celebration. The night will feature live performances from Egyptian rapper Taffy and Sudanese artist Maman, along with DJ sets from Lana, Femaledjkhaled, The StALIon and DJ RJ. There will also be a mini tattoo parlour on-site, powered by Miss Lulu.
The event will take place at a private location in Cairo, revealed to attendees upon registration. Get your sportswear on and book your tickets, DM @intlasc on Instagram.
