‘Work from Park’ Outdoor Workspaces Introduced in Dubai
The initiative will launch its first site at Al Barsha Pond Park in May.
A new initiative introducing outdoor workspaces across public parks has been launched in Dubai, with the first site set to open in May 2026 at Al Barsha Pond Park. The “Work from Park” programme, developed by Dubai Municipality, will feature modular, tech-enabled workspaces integrated into park environments, with additional locations planned across the city throughout the year.
The project is designed to provide work settings for entrepreneurs, freelancers and small and medium-sized enterprises, while maintaining the recreational use of public parks.
The initiative aligns with the Dubai 2040 Parks and Greenery Strategy, the Dubai Urban Plan 2040 and the Dubai Economic Agenda D33.
As part of implementation, Dubai Municipality signed cooperation agreements with Group AMANA and Letswork LLC. Group AMANA, through its DuBox unit, will construct the first site using off-site modular technology, while Letswork will operate the spaces and provide access to facilities including hot desks, event areas, podcast studios and creative production spaces.
The rollout will follow a public-private partnership model aimed at expanding participation and investment in the network of outdoor workspaces.
