University of New Haven Riyadh to Offer Nonprofit Leadership Degree
The new academic track will focus on nonprofit leadership and humanitarian work while providing scholarships for Saudi students.
A new academic track specialising in nonprofit leadership and humanitarian work is set to be introduced through the University of New Haven Riyadh following the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the King Abdullah Humanitarian Foundation.
The programme is expected to become one of Saudi Arabia's first specialised bachelor's tracks dedicated to nonprofit leadership and humanitarian work. It will be offered as part of the university's Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
Under the agreement, the two institutions will jointly develop the curriculum to prepare graduates for careers in the nonprofit and humanitarian sectors.
The memorandum also establishes a scholarship programme for outstanding Saudi students, funded by the King Abdullah Humanitarian Foundation in coordination with the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity.
