USD 490 Million Contract Awarded to Build Diriyah Art Museum

A joint venture between Hassan Allam Construction Saudi Arabia and AlBawani Co Ltd has been awarded a USD 490 million contract to build the Saudi Arabia Museum of Contemporary Art in Diriyah, Riyadh.

The contract was issued by Diriyah Company as part of ongoing efforts to develop Diriyah into a global cultural and tourism destination aligned with Saudi Vision 2030.

The project will be executed by Hassan Allam Construction Saudi Arabia, a subsidiary of Hassan Allam Holding, in partnership with AlBawani Co Ltd, part of AlBawani Holding Company.

“This project represents an important milestone in the Group’s journey within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and reaffirms our commitment to delivering world-class cultural projects that respect historical heritage and meet national future ambitions,” Hassan Allam said.

The museum is expected to form part of a broader cultural infrastructure push aimed at expanding Saudi Arabia’s arts sector and strengthening its position as an international destination for culture and tourism.
