UAE to Train 80,000 Government Employees in Agentic AI
A five-track programme and an AI learning platform will enable half of federal services to use AI within two years.
The United Arab Emirates government will train 80,000 federal employees in agentic artificial intelligence as part of a broader plan to deliver half of government services using AI technologies within two years. The programme represents the largest AI training initiative in the UAE government’s history and will be developed in partnership with international universities and global technology companies.
The training structure will cover five categories including leadership, technical skills, specialist functions, general workforce training, and trainer support programmes. A dedicated digital platform powered by agentic AI tools will also provide personalised learning pathways tailored to employees’ roles and skill levels.
The government additionally outlined a governance framework defining the responsibilities of ministries and federal entities participating in the programme.
