UAE Hypermarkets Cut Prices Up to 50% for Eid Al Adha 2026
Hypermarkets and retailers across the UAE are expanding Eid promotions and stock levels ahead of the holiday.
Hypermarkets and major retailers across the UAE have launched Eid Al Adha promotions offering discounts of up to 50% on essential goods and festive products ahead of an expected rise in shopping activity during the holiday period.
The Eid Al Adha break includes a four-day paid holiday for private sector employees from May 26th to May 29th, a period expected to increase consumer demand across supermarkets and retail centres.
Promotions introduced across UAE retailers cover a wide range of categories including fresh fruits and vegetables, rice, flour, cooking oil, frozen food, dairy products, beverages, chocolates, dates, dry fruits, bakery items, sweets, snacks, household goods and ready-to-cook products. Retailers have also reported increased demand for hospitality-related purchases and bulk shopping ahead of Eid gatherings, particularly for meat products, gift packs, desserts and staples commonly used in traditional meals.
Several supermarket chains and cooperatives stated that inventories and logistics operations were expanded ahead of the holiday period to maintain product availability and stabilise supply levels during the seasonal surge in demand.
Sharjah Coop additionally expanded sacrificial animal booking and preparation services through partnerships with certified suppliers ahead of Eid Al Adha.
