Two Killed in Saudi National Guard Helicopter Crash in Najran
The Saudi-led coalition said an AH-6i reconnaissance helicopter crashed due to a technical malfunction on October 18th.
Two crew members were killed after a Saudi National Guard reconnaissance helicopter crashed in the Najran region on October 18th, according to the Saudi-led coalition.
Coalition spokesperson Major General Turki Al-Maliki identified the aircraft as an AH-6i reconnaissance helicopter operated by the Ministry of National Guard and said the crash was caused by a technical malfunction.
Al-Maliki also rejected claims by the Houthis that an Apache helicopter had been shot down in the Najran area, saying the aircraft involved was an AH-6i and that the incident occurred inside Saudi territory.
