Nine Road Projects Open Across Asir Region
The SAR 473 million projects add 252 kilometres to the region's transport network.
Nine new road projects with a combined value of SAR 473 million have been inaugurated across Saudi Arabia's Asir Region, adding a total of 252 kilometres to the area's transport infrastructure.
The inauguration was attended by Minister of Transport and Logistics Services and Chairman of the Roads General Authority Saleh Al-Jasser, alongside officials from the Kingdom's transport and logistics sectors.
According to Al-Jasser, the projects are intended to improve mobility across the region and better serve both residents and visitors.
He said the roads were constructed in accordance with the Saudi Roads Code and implemented to safety and quality standards designed to strengthen the region's infrastructure.
The additions expand Asir's road network, which now exceeds 5,304 kilometres.
