New 500 Metre Dubai Bridge Cuts Travel Time From 8 to 2 Minutes
The link channels traffic from Al Bada’a to 2nd of December Street, with connections to Sheikh Rashid Street and Al Wasl Street.
A new 500-metre bridge has opened in Dubai, reducing travel time for motorists moving out of Al Bada’a from eight minutes to around two minutes. The bridge was delivered as part of the Commercial Centre Roundabout development by the Roads and Transport Authority and provides a direct connection to 2nd of December Street.
The new link also connects to key roads including Sheikh Rashid Street and Al Wasl Street, improving access to surrounding areas and supporting traffic flow towards Sheikh Zayed Road.
Officials said the project is designed to reduce congestion and improve journey times by offering a more direct route for outbound traffic from the Commercial Centre district.
The bridge is expected to help distribute traffic more efficiently across the road network, accommodating increased vehicle volumes as the area continues to develop.
