Najran University Launches Book on Heritage & Innovation

Najran University has launched a new book examining how cultural heritage can be preserved and revitalised while balancing authenticity with contemporary innovation.
The book is the first title in the university’s Special Publications series, which focuses on society, development and culture. Its content draws on a scholarly symposium organised by Najran University and brings together discussions on safeguarding heritage, passing it on to future generations and identifying where innovation can support preservation.
The university said the publication looks at ways to maintain continuity without treating heritage as static, considering how cultural resources can remain relevant as practices and communities evolve.
The book has been registered with the King Fahad National Library and assigned an International Standard Book Number.
