Makkah Red Crescent Boosts Ambulance Readiness Ahead of Rainy Season
The authority has deployed 166 ambulance teams and six specialised response vehicles across the Makkah Region.
The Saudi Red Crescent Authority in the Makkah Region has increased emergency medical preparedness ahead of the rainy season, with additional teams and vehicles deployed across the region.
Preparations include 166 ambulance teams stationed across cities in the Makkah Region, along with six specialised response vehicles. The authority said the expanded deployment is intended to improve emergency coverage and reduce response times during changing weather conditions.
Residents and citizens have also been asked to give ambulance teams right of way and provide accurate location details when reporting medical emergencies.
The authority said emergency cases should be reported through the unified emergency number so medical teams can be dispatched as quickly as possible.
