Eid Al Adha Sacrifice Animals Now Available Through Delivery Apps
Residents in the UAE can now order Eid Al Adha sacrifice animals through delivery apps including Noon and Careem.
Residents across the UAE can now order livestock for Eid Al Adha sacrifices through delivery platforms, with companies including Noon and Careem expanding app-based Qurbani services ahead of the holiday. Noon has launched an online Qurbani service in partnership with Zabehaty, offering ritual livestock including cows, camels, Kashmiri sheep, and Somali sheep. Prices start at AED 1,050, with orders available until May 23rd or until stocks run out.
According to Noon, order capacity is being capped to maintain quality control and logistical standards during the Eid period.
Careem has also introduced home delivery options for slaughtered livestock through its platform. Listed offerings include a local goat priced at AED 1,775 for an estimated weight between 14 and 17 kilograms, a Cashmere Goat at AED 1,670, a Najdi sheep at AED 1,985, and a local cow priced at AED 10,200.
The services add digital ordering and home delivery to existing abattoir and livestock marketplace channels operating across the country during Eid Al Adha.
According to the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department, official Qurbani rates this year range between AED 350 and AED 800.
Udhiyah, also referred to as Qurbani, is the ritual slaughter of livestock performed during Eid Al Adha after morning prayers, with the meat traditionally distributed among family members, neighbours, and those in need.
Eid Al Adha this year is expected to begin on May 27th.
