EgyptAir to Fly Egypt National Team Home on July 10th

EgyptAir is operating a special flight to return Egypt's national football team from Atlanta following its exit from the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with the squad scheduled to arrive in Egypt on July 10th.

According to the airline, the service is operating as flights MS3009/10 using a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. The aircraft departed Cairo for Atlanta to collect the delegation after the Egyptian Football Association arranged a private flight for the team's return.

Egypt's World Cup campaign came to an end after a 3-2 defeat to Argentina in the round of 16 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. The 2026 FIFA World Cup is being co-hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico.

EgyptAir said it will continue supporting Egyptian national teams and clubs by facilitating travel during international competitions.
