Egypt’s budget for fiscal year 2026/2027 includes EGP 90 billion in allocations for programmes supporting production, exports and entrepreneurship, according to the Ministry of Finance.
Minister of Finance Ahmed Kouchouk said the allocations form part of efforts to strengthen economic growth and expand support for productive sectors, exporters and businesses.
The largest share of the package, EGP 48 billion, has been allocated to export rebate programmes. The budget also earmarks nearly EGP 7 billion to support the tourism sector and EGP 6 billion for financing facilities intended to strengthen industrial and agricultural production capabilities.
Support for entrepreneurship and small businesses accounts for EGP 5 billion, while another EGP 5 billion has been allocated to programmes supporting the automotive industry. An additional EGP 2 billion has been designated to incentivise priority industries.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the allocations are part of wider measures included in the 2026/2027 budget to expand programmes that support production, service exports, merchandise exports and entrepreneurship activities.
