Cairo to Host 52nd Arab Labour Conference in September 2026
The conference will bring together governments, employers and workers from across the Arab region from September 13th to 20th.
Cairo will host the 52nd Arab Labour Conference from September 13th to 20th, 2026, with Egypt chairing the meeting.
According to Labour Minister Hassan Raddad, delegations will include representatives of governments, employer organisations and workers from across the Arab region.
The conference will focus on employment, job creation, social protection and other labour-related challenges facing Arab countries, bringing together the three main parties in the labour market to discuss shared priorities and regional cooperation.
Egypt currently chairs the board of directors of the Arab Labour Organization, a specialised organisation of the Arab League headquartered in Cairo.
The meeting will also provide a platform for participating states to discuss the organisation’s priorities for the conference period and exchange approaches to labour-market challenges across the region.
