Ajman Tourism Package Introduces Fee Waivers & Deferrals
Tourism establishments will receive fee deferrals, waivers and flexible payment options under a new support package.
A support package introducing fee deferrals, waivers and flexible payment options has been rolled out to support tourism activity and investment in Ajman. The initiative, launched by Ajman’s Department of Tourism Development, includes a six-month deferral of tourism fees for all establishments starting March 1st, 2026. During this period, businesses will also be exempt from late renewal fines, while event permit fees and licence renewal fees have been waived.
A flexible payment system will allow tourism establishments to settle dues in instalments without interest, as part of efforts to ease operational costs and improve cash flow.
Additional measures include free entry to museums across Ajman until the end of 2026, alongside exemptions from participation fees for tourism establishments taking part in exhibitions and promotional workshops organised by the department.
Officials said the package is designed to strengthen the competitiveness of the tourism sector, attract investment and support long-term sustainability. The measures cover operational, licensing and promotional aspects of the industry, aiming to improve efficiency and support business continuity.
