AD: TRIBE Hotels to Debut in Egypt at MAVEN's Baymount Sokhna

MAVEN Developments has signed a landmark agreement with global hospitality giant, Accor, to introduce TRIBE at Baymount Sokhna, marking the brand’s debut in Egypt.

TRIBE is globally recognised for its design-led philosophy, stripping away the unnecessary to focus on the needs and wants of modern travelers, offering functional, stylish spaces and a vibrant, communal energy. The new hotel at Baymount Sokhna will arrive as a lifestyle hub, featuring architecture integrated into the mountains. 

Established in Australia in 2017 by Mark and Melissa Peters, TRIBE focuses on providing design-led accommodations at an accessible price point, prioritising functional spaces and essential amenities over traditional hotel extras. Currently, it operates over 20 hotels in more than 10 countries with an additional 30-plus properties in development.

An affiliate of award-winning US developer The Riverwards Group, MAVEN Developments is introducing a new standard of creative living to Egypt. The firm specialises in identifying unique geographical sites and enhancing them through ambitious designs that blend sophisticated living environments with their surrounding natural beauty.

Baymount Sokhna is designed to take full advantage of the region's dramatic mountain-meets-sea topography, offering panoramic Red Sea views. MAVEN has planned the community to prioritise lifestyle and leisure, allocating only part of the land to residential buildings while dedicating the rest to expansive greenery, pools, and world-class amenities. 

While many developers remain focused on Cairo, the New Capital and New Alamein, this collaboration speaks to the still untapped potential of Ain Sokhna as a year-round destination.
