Guy Ritchie’s ‘In The Grey’ Lands in Saudi Cinemas May 14th
Supported by the Red Sea Film Foundation, Guy Ritchie’s ‘In The Grey’ was partially filmed in Jeddah.
'In The Grey', the latest thriller from Guy Ritchie, is set to release across cinemas in Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East on May 14th.
The film stars Henry Cavill, Jake Gyllenhaal, Eiza González and Rosamund Pike. The story follows two specialists tasked with planning an escape route for a high-profile figure.
The project received backing from the Red Sea Film Foundation through its production fund, the same initiative that previously supported Ritchie’s 'The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare'.
Saudi Arabia’s involvement in the production extended beyond financing, with portions of the film shot in Jeddah.
The city served as one of the film’s filming locations, reflecting Saudi Arabia’s growing presence within international film production.
The release adds to a broader push by the Red Sea Film Foundation to support international productions filming in the Kingdom while strengthening connections between global filmmakers and Saudi Arabia’s developing cinema sector.
