Reif Kushiyaki Is Heading to Seasons New Cairo
No official opening date for Seasons just yet, but if its current trajectory is anything to go by, New Cairo can expect the heat soon.
Fresh off securing No. 20 on MENA’s 50 Best Restaurants 2026 list and clinching the Highest Climber Award, the Japanese-Peruvian concept is now teasing a new branch in Seasons New Cairo.
Led by world-renowned chef Reif Othman and backed in Egypt by Baky Hospitality Group, the Dubai-founded brand has steadily carved out a name for itself on the local dining scene. Its Cairo outpost’s rise on the MENA’s 50 Best ranking only reinforces that momentum.
The announcement comes as Reif Kushiyaki also gears up to open at 31WEST, adding West Cairo to its growing footprint. With existing branches at 5A by the Waterway Developments and Marassi Marina, the brand’s signature kushiyaki skewers, sandos, ramen bowls and refined raw selections are reaching more corners of the country.
Behind the expansion is Baky Hospitality Group, the force responsible for some of Egypt’s most decorated dining addresses. The group’s portfolio includes Sachi and Kazoku, which ranked No. 37 and No. 25 respectively on MENA’s 50 Best Restaurants 2026 list, alongside Megumi. With multiple entries on the list, Baky’s growing fine-dining empire continues to shape the country’s position on the regional culinary map.
