District 5 is Getting a Two-Day Coffee Festival This October
The second edition brings Egypt’s coffee community together for two days of coffee, culture, workshops and competitions.
Something is brewing in New Cairo this October. The Egypt Coffee Festival will take over Kamelizer Spaces at District 5 on October 16th and 17th with two days of coffee tastings, competitions, workshops, food, design, art and music.
The festival will bring together local coffee makers, specialty roasters, baristas, food concepts and creatives, giving visitors a chance to sample different coffees, try new flavours and see more of the craft behind brewing. Coffee professionals will compete across the weekend, while workshops will cover everything from brewing techniques to the smaller details that shape the final cup.
And because coffee events now seem to come with their own creative ecosystem, the programme will also stretch into food, design, art, culture and music across both days.
